The emergency plan needs to explain who discovered the problem, who has the authority to switch, and what content to switch to. Only a backup video is not enough. Without prompts from operators and viewers, the scene may still be stuck with repeated images for a long time.

Difficulties in actual use

Check the authorization and version of the main material and backup material before broadcasting, and clarify the role of manual takeover. Monitor the audio, picture and streaming status, and perform switching when the abnormality persists until the agreed conditions are met. The interactive reply can be paused and service instructions given. The processing of orders involved is still confirmed by the business system, and backup words cannot be used to promise transaction results. After recovery, preview first and then return to live broadcast.

How to arrange functions and responsibilities

For example, if the product demonstration fails to be generated, you can switch to the reviewed static introduction and explain it by the host; if the interactive interface is abnormal, provide a customer service entrance for the audience to continue to consult. You can’t loop over and over a sound that’s coming back right now and no one is actually dealing with it.

Check the processing results item by item

  • Drill network disconnection, material playback ended, audio track missing and host account disconnected.
  • Record the switching time and confirm with who completed it. After the problem is fixed, check whether the orders and notifications are duplicated.
  • Activity review focuses on whether the audience knows what happened and how to continue to receive services.
  • Check the last exposed link before the next broadcast, instead of just restarting the same program.

Verification and Ongoing Maintenance

Emergency material should not contain inventory or prices that may change over time unless it can be rechecked before broadcast. The backup content is only used to maintain necessary instructions and cannot continue to output unconfirmed transaction commitments when the main link is abnormal.
