Enterprise live broadcast may be for customers, or it may only be for employees or partners. Unlisted links alone cannot guarantee viewing range, and sharing a link may still cross the original boundaries.
Difficulties in actual use
Configure login, invitation or organization identity verification according to activities, limit playback and download permissions; record authorization changes in the background, and do not confuse identity authentication with payment status.
How to arrange functions and responsibilities
For example, internal training requires employee identity confirmation, and customer public briefings can provide a simple entrance; different activities use different thresholds to avoid all viewers being forced to fill in complex information.
Scenario example
Test invitation forwarding, permission revocation and playback access. The confirmation interface also checks the identity; the prompt should explain how to obtain authorization to avoid legitimate viewers encountering a blank player.
Check the processing results item by item
- Access restrictions should be verified on the server side. Hiding the share button can only reduce misoperations, but cannot prevent links from being copied.
- For internal events, authorization can be based on the organization or a confirmed participant list; external guests use separate qualifications and should not gain access to the entire internal database for convenience.
- After the viewing qualification is withdrawn, access to replays, attachments and chat records must also be checked accordingly.
- Participants who join temporarily can be reviewed, and the retention time and handler of the list can be changed.
- The event page should clearly inform users whether forwarding is allowed and the scope of application, so that participants know the boundaries of the current content.
- Provide understandable instructions and contact methods when authorization fails, and do not just return a blank playback box.
Verification and continuous maintenance
After the sharing scope changes, the permissions of the old link must also be re-verified. Staff can view the necessary reasons for access failure, but do not disclose the participation list to avoid disclosing other people’s registration information in order to help one viewer.
