End of shift does not mean end of work order. Unhandled alarms, semi-finished products waiting for inspection, and remaining materials will all affect the next shift. Only a paragraph of handover notes is left, and the successor still needs to ask each item one by one. The system can organize these contents into a to-be-confirmed list.

How to arrange records and operations

The handover list lists in-process tasks, quantities, abnormalities and pending inspections by equipment or workstation, and allows for additional on-site instructions. The person taking over will record the time and account number after confirmation; matters with objections will remain pending and will not be automatically closed upon completion of the shift handover.

The handover content can be automatically collected from business records, but the handover personnel still need to check the physical objects on site. When the quantity on the screen is inconsistent with the semi-finished product on the workstation, register the discrepancy first and then clarify who is responsible for investigating. Handover confirmation cannot be used as an entry point for supplementary recording of output, otherwise it is easy to confuse the source of quantity. After the shift is taken over, if an item is found to be missing from the original record, relevant explanations can be added and the handover position can be notified. When querying historical handovers, the inventory snapshot at that time is displayed instead of the updated current work order status.

Specific scenarios that need to be checked

For example, when a shift is handed over, there is a box of semi-finished products waiting for re-inspection. The location, batch and current person in charge should be recorded. Test new exceptions after cross-shift reporting and handover to avoid assigning new problems to the previous shift. The management terminal must be able to view unconfirmed handovers and directly enter the corresponding work orders.
