The upload time of the attendance device may be different from the actual clock-in time. The system should separate original records, rules and business confirmations to avoid late uploads being misjudged as late. Rule adjustments also need to clearly define the applicable date and verification method.

Record source

Attendance information may come from equipment, mobile portals or other systems. The source and collection time should be stated. Missing or duplicate records first enter the pending verification state, and normal records should not be automatically filled in without confirmation.

Rule configuration

Shifts, exception arrangements and supplementary applications should be developed according to the process confirmed by the enterprise. Different positions may use different rules, and the system needs to explain how records correspond to the rules and cannot just display one final conclusion.

Scope of viewing

Employees’ ability to query their own records, managers’ ability to view team status, and administrators’ ability to adjust rules should be authorized separately. Statistical reports retain caliber and time conditions to prevent unconfirmed records from directly entering the final summary.

Scene verification

For example, if the device transmits an attendance record at night, the platform should classify it into the relevant date based on the actual time, and then verify it according to the confirmation rules. Late data has different meanings from late business and cannot be confused with the same status.

Specific verification method

Upload the records from one day ago and check and attribute them to the actual date; repeated uploads will not increase the number of check-ins; modify the rules to see which version of past results will be used; manually confirm the reason for retention and the responsible position. The original records will continue to be available for inspection and cannot be directly overwritten to a new time.

The attendance results are returned to the original record and checked against the rules of the current period. The processes of manual correction and supplementary transmission are kept separately, so that query personnel can distinguish data arrival delays, rule changes and real business anomalies.
