Receiving a successful response from the channel interface does not mean that each order has been correctly placed in the inventory. Network retries, message delays and notification out-of-order may cause duplicate orders or status rollbacks. Processing records need to distinguish between transmission and business results.

Interface scope

First determine the authorized channels, order fields and inventory synchronization direction of the connection. Channel business rules and interface capabilities may be different. In the project, you need to consult the corresponding official documents and confirm the behavior through the test environment.

Status Mapping

Local order status and channel status may not correspond one-to-one, and a clear mapping relationship should be maintained. When receiving a cancellation or modification notification, the system must determine the existing processing progress to prevent new notifications from covering the confirmed business facts.

Failure handling

Network problems and data loss need to be entered into queryable exception records. Retries must identify the original request, and the process should be retained after manual repair; synchronization success cannot be judged only by the fact that the message has been sent.

Scenario verification

The same cancellation notification may arrive twice due to retries, and the system needs to identify whether it has been processed. Keeping message identification and processing records helps staff distinguish new business changes from repeated transmissions of existing requests.

Specific verification method

Send the same cancellation notification twice to check whether resources are released only once; then pass in an earlier confirmation message, and the order should not be returned to the old state; if the simulation interface processing fails, check whether the error record, retry entry and final business result correspond to each other.

The channel synchronizes the message identification and processing status to facilitate operations to distinguish between pending processing and completed messages. When retrying to perform the same action, there needs to be a clear path for duplicate identification and exception checking.
