When a guest changes the date of stay, the order content and room resources must be adjusted at the same time. Changing only the number of nights stayed may cause the page to display successfully without confirming whether rooms are available on the added date. The change operation needs to be verified first and then saved.
Order structure
The reservation record needs to express the check-in area, room type, guest contact information and source. The order number is used in the association process. You cannot rely solely on phone numbers or names to locate orders to avoid mixing up reservations with the same name or multiple reservations.
Change Rules
When the date, room type and quantity change, the resource occupation should be rechecked and the business information before and after the change should be saved. Price adjustments, cancellation conditions and refund processing shall be developed in accordance with the rules confirmed by the Operator.
Duplicate submission
When a user clicks repeatedly or a channel sends messages repeatedly, the same business request should be identified. Page reminders and background processing need to work together to avoid just disabling the button and still generating multiple orders.
Scenario verification
For example, if a two-night reservation is changed to three nights, the system needs to recheck the resources for the added date instead of just modifying the order text. Which occupations will be released and which historical records will be retained after cancellation should also be confirmed in the scene.
Specific verification method
Extend the two-night order to the third night when resources are tight, and check the conflict feedback; change the date to a date with resources and check the occupied interval; cancel the order and check the release result; send the same change request repeatedly, and the order amount and inventory occupation should not change repeatedly.
Reservation changes must retain the original and current arrangements so that staff can have a basis to explain changes in resources and fees. The historical record does not affect the current occupancy, but should continue to support order inquiry and service verification.
