After picking is completed, the goods still need to be sorted, packed and handed over. When multiple orders are processed on the same workstation, packing errors may occur at the last step. WMS outbound review should correlate the order, packaging container and actual scan results, rather than just confirming that the order has been picked.
How to arrange records and operations
Begin the review by identifying the order or container, and check the materials, quantities and necessary batches item by item. For multi-box orders, establish a relationship for each box and check whether there are any missing items before sealing. The order exchange operation clearly prompts that the sealed content needs to be reviewed again after modification, and the original record is retained.
Packaging review needs to correlate order details, actual packing and packaging numbers. When an order is divided into multiple packages, each package has an independent content list; the relationship between each order is also retained when combined. Weight inspection is only to assist judgment and cannot prove that the specifications and batches are correct. When a shortage is discovered during review, the unpacked quantity will be recorded and a replenishment arrangement will be generated, and the delivery status will be advanced based on actual confirmation. After sealing, replacing the goods or repacking creates a new review record to avoid attachments showing the old packaging contents and the system has changed the details.
Specific scenarios that need to be checked
For example, if two orders have the same product but different quantities, test whether the orders will be mixed during continuous review. Weight can be used as an auxiliary inspection and cannot replace variety verification. The outbound handover associates the packaging number with the shipping task. When a discrepancy occurs, you can know which package and link the problem occurs in.
