When students see that the remaining class hours are different from their own records, they usually ask for the basis for each deduction. The class account should not only have a balance that can be modified manually. It is necessary to save the details of purchases, classes, make-up classes, cancellations and adjustments. It is also necessary to unify whether different courses are measured by lessons or by time, otherwise a short class and a long class will easily be confused as the same unit.
Start from needs
The deduction action is associated with specific courses and participation records, clarifying what status is triggered, and how to handle leave and make-up classes. Manual adjustments must fill in the reason and confirm the role. The original record is retained and is not directly overwritten. The purchased free class hours and paid class hours can be recorded separately, and the applicable scope and valid conditions can be viewed. Use business numbers for concurrent operations to prevent repeated deductions.
Things that should be paid attention to in the design
For example, after the teacher makes up for attendance, the system deducts one class hour. If the check-in time is modified again, the deduction should not be repeated. If the entire course is canceled, the relevant consumption will be canceled according to the determined rules, and the balance and details will be updated simultaneously. Students can view their own records and objection entries, but not other people’s account information.
Check the processing results item by item
- Acceptance includes late arrival, leave, course cancellation and manual correction, and compare the accounts item by item.
- The report distinguishes between fees charged and lessons consumed, and the two cannot be directly equated to income.
- Provide detailed checks before ending the course or refunding, and locate the source of discrepancies first.
- Changes in class rules retain the effective date, and confirmed historical consumption cannot be recalculated according to the new rules without explanation.
Check the processing results
Before the class expires, students can be prompted according to the established rules to explain the applicable courses and processing entrance. If there are indeed permissible conditions for an extension or transfer, record the basis and confirmation results separately, and do not make historical rules unexplainable by arbitrarily changing the deadline.
