Complete report formatting does not mean that the data has been confirmed. If the report directly reads results that are still editable, silent changes may occur during review. LIMS report management should clarify the status of data sources and save the results and templates used when forming the audit version.

How to arrange records and operations

Check the sample information, project scope and result confirmation status before generating the report. A snapshot of the data associated with the audit version. After modifying the source, a prompt needs to be rechecked. Review comments are recorded one by one, the published version is separated from the draft, and attachments and download entries display clear status to avoid mixing different versions.

The report number, version and release status are managed independently, and the corresponding version can be identified in the exported file. During review, check source records and modification instructions, not just typesetting. After the template is updated, reports that have been reviewed will retain the original template; if the template needs to be changed, the review version will be re-formed. The download portal clarifies the relationship between currently valid files and historical files. When the result correction affects multiple reports, list all objects and complete the subsequent processing one by one to avoid updating the currently opened one and missing other reports that reference the same results.

Specific scenarios that need to be checked

For example, if the reviewer proposes to correct the unit, the original review opinions and version relationship will be retained after the test is regenerated. If a published report needs to be adjusted, a new version should be formed according to the business confirmation process and the association should be explained. The system does not replace review completion with successful printing, nor does it allow ordinary editing permissions to automatically obtain publishing permissions.
